3 Years

Jeremy and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary in Chicago. We were there all day Tuesday and Wednesday. We got to Chicago around 10:30 am. It was raining so we decided to go to Shedd Aquarium first. This was my first time being there. It was really cool! I think Ellyot would have LOVED it!

We stayed at The White Hall Hotel. It was so nice! We loved staying there!

Tuesday night we went to Wildfire (thanks Kira) for the BEST steaks we EVER had! I think that became one of our new favorite places to eat. We are going back for sure! For dessert we went to Baskin Robbins.

Wednesday we spent the day shopping and walking around. We went for lunch at Webber Grill (another one of our favorites) and for dinner we went to Giordano's for pizza. We had a great couple of days!

Thanks to our parents for watching Ellyot while we were gone! She had so much fun!

When Jeremy is at work, multiple times a day, I get asked "Dadda?" Meaning "where is daddy?" So today I asked her "where is Dadda?"...

She looked around the room and put her hands up.... Meaning "I don't know."

Ellyot is really starting to act like a little girl.... no more baby. :( I do miss the little baby but she is just so much fun and we love her so much!

"We have the same coat!"

Tonight we had fun hanging out with the Klein-Wassink's. The girls had so much fun playing together! Taya kept calling Ellyot "Baby Ellyot". :)

They took a ride in the wagon to Captain Sundae to get some ice cream. Taya thought it was so funny that her and Ellyot had the same coat. She kept saying "We have the same coat!" It was so cute!

Taya and Ellyot were buddies by the end of the night. They held hands most of the way home from Captain Sundae, they were giving each other hugs, and chasing each other around in the kitchen with the doll stroller. It was so sweet!

Today, while we were out getting the mail, Ellyot climbed up our back porch steps and somehow fell down them on the the cement sidewalk! She is OK but has some pretty big battle wounds.

Ellyot started running down a hill in our yard. She said "weee" the whole way down and was just giggling the whole time, even when she fell face first. :)

She is so fun and we just love her!
